Hey there everyone!
First of all, we are very excited for our Road Trip Camp in Kennesaw, GA this weekend! The inclement weather certainly was a bit unexpected, but we are doing what we can to accommodate for the situation to the best of our ability.
After careful consideration for the well-being of the students, families, and staff of The Catching Camp and D-BAT West Cobb, we have decided to alter the hours of the camp this weekend in anticipation of further inclement weather overnight. Here's the schedule:
Schedule:
Ages 8-12 year olds are scheduled for 10:30am -2pm Saturday, 12:30pm - 5pm on Sunday (the extra 30 minutes to make up for the 30 minutes lost on Saturday).
Ages 13-18 year olds are scheduled for 2:30pm - 6:30pm Saturday, 8am - 12pm on Sunday.
For students who arrive later than the 10:30AM start time due to travel delays, we will do our absolute best as instructors to catch students up on anything they may have missed.
We certainly appreciate the difficult decision parents will be faced with regarding travel to and from the camp, and that is why we have made these alterations to the schedule.
As it stands, the snow is expected to end before 7am Saturday morning.
As far as details for the camp, please see below:
Please make sure your catcher is wearing turfs OR sneakers. Cleats will not be allowed on the turf.
No gum-chewing or sunflower seeds on the turf.
Please make sure to bring your own gear, including some type of glove (if a catcher's mitt is not available to you).
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
See you all soon!
*Please note that because the camp will run, registrations are subject to the existing cancellation policy.
